My husband and I had dinner at the Schwarzwälder Hof last night and were genuinely impressed. Fortunately, we had reserved a table in the morning because it was well attended. The service was absolutely great and very friendly and the food was great ..... Price / performance ratio more than okay.

Just had dinner here and immediately booked again for Saturday. The venison ragout was delicious and the pork medallions with 3 different sauces were very good. I'm already looking forward to Saturday.

We were today 20.9.20. Unfortunately, I cannot provide any information about the food and drinks in the Black Forest restaurant. The service is very bad. We waited 25 minutes, unfortunately there was no service. The tables in the outdoor area were almost all full of dirty stuff.

Absolutely not recommendable. Potato soup had nothing to do with potato soup. The steak was reasonably successful. The side dish salad grade 5.5. So and now it comes the food from my partner was absolutely nothing, the pork tenderloin fried absolutely dead, the sauce tasted soapy. After we had all eaten except for my partner who was sitting in front of her full plate the whole time, the waiter came and asked if it was good, we explained what was not tasty about the dish. He took the plate and disappeared without comment, came back after 3 minutes with a new plate and said it was freshly prepared which we didn't want anymore. Then nobody came to the table to serve us. At some point we were able to pay and had to pay in full for the food that was given back, no apology or anything else. No more completely incomprehensible and absolutely cheeky charging for a completely returned meal.

Tonight the food was not good to rather bad, the pepper sauce and the meat had a soapy taste, the medallion was very through, after both waiters had asked about it, a meal came that we sent back directly, the cook did not try it 🤔 the ​​head waiter or boss came to cash in, no apologize and also cashed in, after the later address there was also no comment, just a real shame that a great cook was at our table and runs restaurants himself, has now fallen from the list of restaurants where my friends and acquaintances no longer go and will recommend others.

We were in Bad Dürrheim for a weekend and ate here on the first evening. That turned out to be a very good decision, because the Augustiner on tap tasted great. It was served in frozen stone jugs or glasses. Just lovely. The food was delicious too. Good German cuisine.

Delicious! The meat is always perfect and the sauces are great. And friendly too, just a bit chaotic because the tables are not divided up among the waiters, but rather each served in a mess.

They have the best food in all of Germany for a great price! Loved it!
